In-House Counsel Job Description
Work place: Munich, Germany

The In-house Counsel is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and proof-reading the legal and commercial contracts and agreements with customer, vendors, and sub-contractors.  This position reports to the COO directly.
       
Primary responsibilities
•        Draft contractual and legal documents
•        Prepares proposal for major contracts
•        Work with customers, investors, and insurance companies on warranty bond wordings
•        Work closely with Business Development and Project Finance for contract negotiation and drafting
•        Analyzing legal issues relating to provided products and services

Academic and working background
•        Minimum Law Master Degree, in one European country or US
•        Post-qualified legal experience in commercial contract environment preferred
•        Demonstrated proficiency in drafting commercial agreements
•        Great business judgment especially in ambiguous situations
•        High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness
•        Ability to work on multiple projects with strong self-motivation, and delivering timely, solution oriented advice
•        Clear, logical and well-reasoned written and oral communication skills

Language skills
•        Excellent English skills that include ability to draft contracts
•        Fluent in Chinese is a big plus
•        German is preferred as additional language
