EPLAN Professional Services provide solutions to optimize and standardize our customers engineering processes and structures and ensure successful implementation through professional project management.

Role:

As “Technical Consultant – Process” you work mainly with the planning, presenting and follow up prospect presentations during acquisition phase mainly for the process industry. You analyze and immerse yourself in the customers needs to define optimal solutions based on our portfolio for the prospect. You act as project leader when implementing our solutions together with our customer care and professional service department. You will build industry know how for our pre sales activates specifically towards the process industry, analysing there specific requirements and understand their business drives and needs, and translate them into technical solution. You will keep yourself updated on new features in the products and transform functions to the message of customer value. You mainly interact with sales engineers, product specialists and our solution department.

Responsibilities:

-        Pre sales and post sales activities
-        Prospect and customer development, coaching, analysis
-        Build industry know how
-        Project management
-        Handle specification, project plans
-        Onsite customer consultation
-        Channel sales support
-        Presentations at trade shows
Requirements:

-        working experience in technical pre sales, product specialist or process engineer, ideally with a strong background in the process industry (ex. Pharmaceutical, Oil and gas, Water/Waste water treatment, Food and beverage, Machinery etc.)
-        Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills
-        Strong business acumen with ability to influence at the various levels of the organization
-        Strong team worker with interface to sales
-        Pro-active attitude
-        Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills
-        The job involves extensive travelling
