We are currently recruiting a teacher of Vietnamese language in the BMBF
project „Southeast Asian Studies at Freiburg: Grounding Area Studies in

Tasks: designing and teaching an intermediate Vietnamese language course in
# A2 P9 y: b$ F" Hsummer term 2011.

The course will start from May 2 until August 6, 2011 and will be held at
the teacher’s convenience once or twice weekly (3x45 min. /week) at the
" y7 ?  X& S% e; tInstitute of Foreign Languages/SLI ( http://www.sli.uni-freiburg.de/ ) of
4 W5 j& E7 t9 p6 P) rthe University of Freiburg. The course materials may be either in German or
  `- R: F% E7 D5 ^in English languages.
$ P) L# ~$ l6 U# U7 n( J) v8 V7 q% k
The intermediate course represents the second part of the BOK module
“Vietnamese for Beginners”. The first part of the module consisting of an
/ h. U' {- i/ F$ mintroductory course was completed in the summer term 2010 and respectively
7 l% c; ~! X# Xwinter term 2010/2011.

The BOK module “Vietnamese Language for Beginners” will be taught in the
& b/ A) B7 E( z- p9 p3 w6 }academic years 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 as well. Therefore, we especially
9 r) u: V9 M- n- f' Q# Cencourage Vietnamese native speakers as well as persons interested in the
longer term perspective to apply.

The remuneration is 1.300 Euros for a semester course.
