Lionbridge Gaming (localization, audio and testing services) is looking for native speakers (m/f/d) of the following languages to accommodate for their QA test needs in Berlin ASAP:French (France), Italian, German, Spanish (Latam), Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese (Portugal), English (US), English (UK), Japanese, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian.
Projects range from short-term (freelance) to a few months (freelance or short-term contracts possible).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluating localized on-screen text, audio and subtitlesVerifying console terminologyIdentifying and tracking issues, suggesting solutions to encountered problemsBug reporting in online/offline bug databasesCooperating with test leads and international testers
REQUIREMENTS:Native speaker (m/f/d) of target language is mandatoryExcellent command of their native languageVery good verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong passion for video games and broad knowledge of video game platformsExtensive gaming experience and knowledge of various game genres and typesProficient with Windows/OfficePrevious experience in QA or game localization is a real plusExperience with translation or proofreading is also a plusStrong attention to detail and rigorous respect of deadlinesFlexible, pro-active and team-oriented attitudeAbility to learn new tools quickly and effectivelyAbility to work under pressure as well as independently with minimal supervisionApplicants must be eligible to work in the European Union and the minimum age is 18
