Scope of job:
1. Identify business opportunity in sheet metal machine selling area in the assigned territory
2. Search for new customer within responsible area and Build business relationships with customers and keep long-term contact
3. Call on or visit current customers and develop potential customers
4. According to company’s rules and supervisor keep customers or potential customers informed of updated products, service, pricing and related information.
5. Cooperate with internal technical people, such as service or application engineer to support customer on technical know-how.
6. Implement sales plan or business program, including some commercial activity in sheet metal or related industries.
7. Fill complete customer, competitor , sales opportunity, and activity information in company sales system
8. Achieve assigned yearly sales quota and target.
9. Close cooperation with sales management including regular, daily/weekly reports about important calls, projects, all visits and all closed or lost orders
10. Provide market information to the company, such as market trends, customer business status and preference, and activities of our competitors.
11. Provide related data and information for annual sales and budget plan and support regional market positioning.
12. Support to complete the other tasks assigned from the direct supervisor per business requirement
Profile required
1. Associates degree is required, Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical field strongly preferred or combination of training and work experience
2. At least 5 years laser experience as salesman in sheet metal laser machinery companies
3. Better commercial sense, excellent sales skills, good technical background and presentation skills
4. Good connections with key customers in the manufacturing industries of sheet metal, and tube metal manufacturing company
5. Good ability of using software of Microsoft Office of Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
6. Excellent verbal & written communications skills in English, German;
7. Excellent self-learning ability, independent and confident, positive and initiative, willing to accept challenges and travel frequently.
8. Understand and abide the regulations on the Employee’s Handbook and Code of Conduct of BODOR
Travel:
1. Willingness to travel is a must
2. Must maintain Valid Driver’s License
3. Occasional overnights as needed
