Position 1: DMU coordination for Chinese engine

1.  Qualification Requirement

- Bachelor/Master Degree in Major BusinessEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent

- Good technicalknowledge of engines & vehicles

- Good knowledgeof part manufacturing and assembling processes

- With a minimumof 2 years working experiences with required knowledge

- Good knowledgeof BOM systems (e.g. ECA, SAP)

- Good knowledge of CAD/CAX systems (e.g. Creo 2.0) especially in handlingof big CAD Assemblies (e.g. Complete Engine Assemblies)

- Work experiencein the organization and coordination, as well as in vehicle/componentmanagement preferred

- Fundamentalknowledge in engines, vehicles and product development process (PEP)

- Language skillsin English and German (business fluent) is a must.

- Sufficientlycommunicative skills

Generalwork:

StatusTracking

- Accumulation and processing of an open-points list ( OPL)

-  Data accumulation of failure information andanalyses

Organanization Technical Meetings

       -   According to a defined process

-   RegularMeetings and Conferences within Europe (Germany (Ingolstadt, Wolfsburg (Gyoer))

Documentations

- Documentation of necessary documents

- Regularly reporting to design engineers

Information management

-  Leading and guiding relevant meetings

-  Internal status presentation

Tracking status of DMU

- Building up CAD Assemblies ofEngine within a defined Timeframe (According to defined process)

- Converting Assemblies intoneutral Data formats DMU Data (Shells, Surfaces…)

- Transfer of DMU Data to variousDepartments within the VW Group. (Virtual VoWa Team)

- Accumulating feedback informationabout Package failures and Reporting to MVK and design engineer

3.   JobSpecification

ParticipationTechnique definition Preliminary talks

- Data accumulation for technical definition

- Participation in technical definition meetings

- Finalestablishing and enacting of the technical definition

Set up andmaintenance DMU Data (Digital Mock Up)

- First Set up of CAD Assembly (Creo2.0) according tospecifications of the technical definition

- Maintenance of CAD Assembly according to information outof defined regular meetings and out of consultation with design engineers.

- Converting into other Dataformats:

Conferting the CAD Assembly into neutralDataformats (according to different systemrequirements)… (e.g. Stepfile…)

Baugruppen meeting reconciliation

- Reconcilingthe changes (from the work rounds in the CAD Data and out of feetback from thedepartments who are in charge to analyze the Data (Virtual VoWa)) with designengineers.

Participation Problem Sheet meeting with Virtual VoWaTeam

- Accumulation of problem issues and communication todesign engineers.

- Dialogue of problem points and escalating if necessary
