Before I came to Germany, I had had Grade 8 as well and I think most people have the same experiences. Now I will receive my M.A. and off course my German is perfect too. It is hard to find a job like what you want. You have no chance in Arbeitsamt, because there are more people who are more capable than I waitting for it. Take care!

Brent

But I preferred not making u lose face.
Take out ur certificate if u've really got it. It,s written TEM 8. our English
professor called it TEM Band 8 and all my foreign friends agreed with "Band 8". I really don't know how u've got the name "grade 8". That's typical
chinglish.

And by the way, u still haven't answered my question.

Another question. What do u mean by the last sentence in ur first passage? I won't expect an English major would make such kind of ridiculous
mistake. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />

But anyway, thanks for ur concern!

dont worry much, it takes time but it comes. enjoy the time you have now. lets say, maybe start to find a job next year, a new beginning.
forget about arbeitsamt, its only for losers, they only offer pieces of shit.i suppose there are 3 levels for different jobs,
no language skill---body work
german necessary---in the middle, most büro arbeit
english advantage---top level, for most big international companies
even in the same company, you will find people communicate in english between high level staffs.
what i mean is, you have to locate your position. searching for big companies, esp american companies, drop your cv, wait, drop again, be patient, then you will find a job when spring comes, when you got the first one, you will get the second soon, finally you will tell yourself, gotcha, not a big deal...
good luck
