Work Environment
The Connect Cultures Program is an important component of promoting diversity and interculturalism at the production sites of AUDI AG in Germany. The program targets university graduates with a foreign background from outside Germany. The program’s language is English.

China is Audi’s biggest market which is constantly changing and creates new challenges for our company. We want to make Chinese customers enthusiastic about our products and surpass their expectations.
In order to meet the specific needs of Chinese customers we need to define a different strategical approach regarding product design and development processes focusing on our high quality standards.
We develop new technologies and concepts in cooperation with our joint venture partner, Audi China and the technical development in order to increase our competitiveness.

Job Purpose/Role
You will complete your first project within your target field “Overall Vehicle Development CKD China”.
Your task will include the development and the implementation of process standards “on the job”, which means the creation and the coordination of the project assignment and its content with different partners of our joint venture, the VW group and other areas of AUDI AG.
You will accompany all phases of the project, i.e. from the project start, the creation of premises for the project, the planning of its schedule up until the start of production (SOP).
The goal is a sustainable further development and improvement of processes and process flows as well as their implementation.
During your first project, you will plan your individual twelve month trainee program, ensuring optimal preparation for your future role.
You will work independently on three to four projects in various divisions of the company. During these assignments, you will get to know process partners and interfaces of vehicle development, in particular with the project management process partners.
You will complete a module on the production line, experience our products first hand through direct customer contact and obtain a customer focused module within the company restaurant.
The various modules that you will complete as a trainee will allow you to build a personal, cross-disciplinary network that you will be able to use in your subsequent career.
You will have a member of management as a mentor, will be supported by the trainee coordination team and will receive regular feedback.
You will benefit from an interesting supporting program and off-the-job activities.
After completing the trainee program, you will start your job in the target department.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
University degree, preferred in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
Understanding of product development, process- and project management
Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
Excellent grades
Fluent business English; Chinese desirable or others
Strong MS-Office skills
Strong MS-Excel skills (scenario analysis, macro creation, PIVOT-Tables)
Activities outside the university environment
Convincing personality and strong communication skills
Self-reliant work and capacity for teamwork
High motivation, innovative thinking and commitment
