Position Overview
Take your career to the next level: join our Global Credit Rating Team where exciting challenges and opportunities await you. As Rating Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the dynamic international portfolios of our counterparties. This will include:
-Analyzing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, notes to accounts, and financial ratios
accurately and in a timely manner
-Producing accurate and timely credit rating analyses on the basis of financial spreads, market data analyses, peer analyses, cash flow models, and forecasts
-Presenting counterparty ratings at rating committee meetings
-Ongoing monitoring of assigned portfolios as well as market and industry developments
-Developing and applying relevant sector and country expertise
-Supporting team heads on assignments and liaising with colleagues from various departments
Your qualifications
-A bank apprenticeship or a university degree, additional professionally relevant qualifications such as M.Sc., MA, MBA, CA, CFA, etc. desirable
-First relevant finance experience will be essential
-Knowledge of financial markets and economic as well as industry trends
-Ideally: a strong accounting background, familiar with financial ratios and financial statement analyses
-Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinker, who takes the initiative and comes up with new ideas
-Excellent organizational, time management, administrative, and multitasking skills
-Able to see both the big picture and the detail
-Strong command of English (written and spoken) is essential, complemented by knowledge of at least one additional European (Italian, Spanish, French or Dutch) /Asian (Chinese, Korean or Japanese) language – multilingual skills are an advantage
-Team spirit and the ability to foster it
