Your responsibilities
You develop and optimize the purchasing strategies in line with the company goals.
You monitor the international supply markets and lead the supplier selection, qualification and development together with the specialist departments.
You steer actively all sourcing processes and therefore ensure the time and quality related reliability of supply of the world wide supply chain.
You take responsibility for the pricing and contractual settings and coordinate the supply contract management.
You analyze and optimize the internal and external process workflows in the purchasing department and realize cost reduction projects without loss of quality
You lead and coach, motivating and with a high focus on targets, a national and international purchasing team from one of the both locations Germany or China.
Your profile
University degree in economics and high affinity for technical topics as well as several years work experience in senior leading position in purchasing with an industrial company from the field of electronics.
Well-founded competence in leadership, negotiation, methods and conception combined with operative and strategic know-how.
Business fluent English
Readiness to travel and strong understanding of the Western and Asian business culture
