Financial Analyst (m/f)

Your tasks

•             Preparing financial statements and analysis (e.g. for sales and marketing) and implementing account reconciliations

•             Compiling and analysing financial information for business unit and performing variance analysis between actual and standard expenses

•             Monitoring, analysing and reporting on inventory valuation, logistics and production costs and leading annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts of P&L

•             Forecasting/Budgeting – Preparing cost models to be used by FP&A team for the forecast and financial forecasts including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Communicate the financial forecast to the respective business leads

•             Managing all aspects of competitive analysis and reporting, including developing a process and regular cadence for the dissemination of key peer company and industry-wide developments

•             Tracking general & administrative and also advertising & promotion expenses

•             Discounts & Promotional spend tracking & insights

Your qualifications and strengths

•             Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred

•             Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles

•             Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques and strong MS Excel skills

•             Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment

•             5+ years in financial analysis and fluent in Mandarin and in English (written and verbal)
