Risk Analyst – Frankfurt am Main

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international bank, Manning Global Group is currently looking for Risk Analysts on a permanent basis to work in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Main Responsibilities are:

Junior Risk Analyst
•        Conduct due diligence on credit projects, as well as follow-up review and classification
•        Responsible for safekeeping of credit contracts and documentation of pledge, daily  operation  in  risk  module of our central IT system, execute prior check for loan granting
•        Form and present reports concerning risk management and risk level of the  bank  based on statistical and analytical work on business data, which are designated and required by the bank or regulatory authority
•        Develop, update methods, tools for evaluation of different types of risks and correspondent capital charge
•        Monitor key risk limits or criteria of daily business to ensure all business is in alignment with the policies and regulations
•        Assist business departments to improve work procedure and promote its self-control ability
•        Responsible  for  other  tasks  of risk control corresponding to the bank’s business development

Senior Risk Analyst
•        Create reports on the bank’s overall risk management or in the term of risk-bearing capacity under the framework of MaRisk.
•        Monitor, calculate and evaluate the bank’s different types of risks using internal approaches and databases.
•        Develop, improve and maintain concept, tools, methods and systems applied in the procedure of risk assessment in line with the requirement of MaRisk.
•        Conduct regular reporting activities to local regulators as required by KWG, MaRisk and GroMiKV.
•        Communicate with auditors and regulators. Receive and transmit regulatory information, requirements and provide suggestions to the bank. Conduct relevant training on supervision and regulation.


Qualifications:
•        Diplom       or      equivalent      degree      holder      in Finance /Accounting /Economics /Mathematics or other related subjects, 2+ years related experience required for the junior position, 3-5 years experience for the senior position.
•        Solid  knowledge  in  financial  or  banking  business  with  strong analytical mind
•        familiar with German bank regulations as KWG/GroMiKV/MaRisk/AWV
•        Sound communication and problem solving skills
•        Good  knowledge  of  German  and  English, German native speaker preferable
•        Good knowledge of OFFICE software, experience in data processing and analysis is preferred
•        Experience  in  risk  control  in   banks  or  other financial institutions or similar background is an advantage
