【专辑介绍】

　　金素梅，17岁因参加张小燕主持的《大精采》节目而获得制作人的赏识踏入了演艺圈。她留给大陆观众印象最深的是在台湾电视剧《婉君》中饰演的丫环嫣红，主演的影片《梅珍》荣获了圣地亚哥电影节最佳女主角奖，其演绎生涯的巅峰是出演了李安的《喜筵》。此外还发行了《卸装》《潮》等唱片，是20世纪80 年代至90年代红遍台湾的知名女艺人。
　　作为原住民的民意代表，从2000年到2004年高金素梅除了组织原住民进行争取权益进行的游行活动外，还搜集整理了大量日本在台湾殖民时期杀戮原住民的照片，并将它们编辑成书公布于众。在1941年太平洋战争爆发时，日军曾强征台湾原住民成立 “高砂义勇队”共2万多人远赴南洋作战。高金素梅找到了这些原住民的后代并带着他们来到日本，抗议日本首相参拜靖国神社，并要求将原住民死亡者的灵位撤出靖国神社。
　　高金素梅为台湾原住民在所做的一切，得到了原住民的肯定。在2004年底进行的第六届台湾地区民意代表选举中，高金素梅又以第二高票连任台湾原住民民意代表。
　　从一名出色的演员到为原住民奔走疾呼的民意代表，高金素梅的经历让人忍不住对她另眼相看，在采访中她一直在说，她为原住民所做的一切，都是为了使当政者能够真正关注原住民的权益，能为改善原住民的生活状况做点什么。
