Job Description
Over the last decade, China has become a technological powerhouse with an interconnected web of highly skilled and quickly innovating IoT firms. Nowadays, many Chinese products and services are at the leading edge. At the same time, German approaches to engineering have been recognized globally for achieving excellence and quality. Now, our global team seeks to utilize the best of both to further boost Bosch’s competitiveness.
Create something new: We offer you the opportunity to design a pioneering Industry 4.0 development concept, which combines the advantages of methods from Chinese and German innovation centers. Specifically, you will be able to evaluate new approaches outside and within Bosch’s innovation ecosystem, as well as compare them with state of the art insights from China.
Think holistically: Based on your novel analysis, you will design a scalable innovation framework for our Industry 4.0 application development and propose a respective transition roadmap. Of course, our German and Chinese colleagues will support you during this exciting assignment.
Experience cooperation: You will be able to work with our experts on other exciting topics based your interests and skills.
Qualifications
Education: Studies in the field of Information, Innovation Management, Engineering, Sinology or similar
Character and Working Practice: Proactively, structured, and goal-oriented and you enjoy working in a team and are able to work independently
Experience: Relevant experience with Chinese culture (ideally in business / technological environment) preferably including staying in mainland China for ≥ 6 months; practical experience through previous internships in the field of innovation management or digital transformation is preferred
Knowledge: Strong in MS Office programs (especially Power Point); very good understanding IT development processes; insights into Industry 4.0, IoT or Data Analytics is beneficial; Programming experience not required, but helpful
Enthusiasm: Passion for innovation process, innovation enablement and digital innovation
Language: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English or German
Additional Information
Start: October 2019
Duration: 6 months
According to prior agreement it is also possible to prepare a thesis.
