EPLAN Professional Services provide solutions to optimize and standardize our customers engineering processes and structures and ensure successful implementation through professional project management.
Role:
In this highly visible, leadership role, you will as “Data Manager” work mainly to develop our solution business including integrations to third part solutions, local customization of our products as well as develop strategic partnership to integrators and third part service providers, and customer in various industries such as automotive, machinery and power . In this role, you manage the business requirements, design solutions and lead the development carried out by internal developers or external partners. Together with our sales and technical sales, members of your team interact with customers during acquisition and implementation phases of customer projects, with focus on pre-sales activities as well as implementing defined solution for our customers. You will ensure success in our solution projects through high know how transparency, project management and coaching. You are responsible for planning, presenting, analysing and follow up prospect projects during acquisition phase. You act within the project team when implementing our solutions together with our technical sales department. You mainly interact with country manager, sales manager, sales engineers, solution partners and product specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ‘Data Portal’ and ‘integration’ terms
- Develop, coach and manage the team members
- Establish and drive goals for the department
- Develop long term partner relationships
- In charge of pre sales and implementation activities
- Define specifications in close cooperation with prospects and partners
- Design and develop solution proposals including calculations, risk assessment and planning
- Project management, control of development and implementation
- Cooperation with EPLAN Headquarters for knowledge and solution transfer
- Interact with international partners Europe and Asia
Requirements:
- working experience with an international company in technical pre-sales, project management or consultancy sales, ideally with a background in the software industry
- Strong communication, consulting and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active attitude
- Capable of addressing customers’ decision-makers
- Strong team worker with interfaces to sales and technical sales
- Strong project management skills
- Good business acumen, be able to understand customers business drives and needs, and translate them into technical solution
- Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills.
- The job involves extensive travelling
