I fear our efforts wil l always be second class to China. This might show new labour off for what the 8 ^3 m9 i N2 u4 f- B; u! Cy are and what they have done to our once great country ( g. U! It will obviously be impossible to rival the spectacular 5 r6 G% }' F3 e! bpageant that Beijing provided, but I thought the dancing (if you can call that : L, F5 J& j- A dancing) and the Leona Lewis/Jimmy Page effort was just pitiful. Well, it wasn"t. It was a t ! P' @+ G+ o# J+ o bhousand, toe-curlingly hideous times worse. Against the dignity, se****sness a * |0 [" \3 W2 b) m6 x+ dnd power of the Chinese displays, it was so far beyond embarrassing, my brain has already almost forgotten it, in a desperate paroxysm of self-defence. 5 O* [) j8 E. This British fiasco was worse than any of them, and even at only eight minutes seemed interminable. No wonder London mayor Boris / ]8 T2 T6 D! T5 ?0 U1 yJohnson looked so uncomfortable beforehand. The whole event went on very smoothly.
