What awaits you?

This 18-month opportunity starting on 1 April 2021 prepares you for a career in an international environment.
You will be supported by an experienced mentor who encourages you to develop not only professionally but also personally.
Over the course of two practical placements in Germany, you will gain insights into projects and processes, strategies and our culture.
During two assignments abroad, you will establish an excellent international network.
In short-term placements within production, dealerships and customer service departments you get to know the BMW Group as a whole.
What will you focus on?
As part of our team, you will be responsible for the constantly rising customer expectations regarding the quality of premium products and services in the area of electric/electronics (E/E).
During your assignment, you will gain deep insights into the daily business of the corporate quality division of the BMW Group responsible for the quality management of autonomous driving and infotainment & connectivity.
Not only will you ensure that quality standards are met but also support the division in achieving the process performance required for reaching the defined quality targets.
With your commitment and expertise, you will get to know as well as use relevant instruments of quality management and quality methods applied to innovative technologies.
In addition, you can also make your contribution to the future-oriented development of quality management within the BMW Group and its quality network.
What you should bring along?
An above-average university degree in business management, electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or a similar field of study with a specialisation in quality management or data analytics.
Six months of relevant practical experience in quality management ideally applied to fields such as software development, test and validation, artificial intelligence, agile development or big data applications.
Four months of experience of studying, working or travelling abroad.
Fluency in German and English (Standard Chinese would also be advantageous).
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
A strong analytical mind as well as persuasiveness.
Drive, determination and the willingness to take on responsibility.
Please note: We assess all qualifications in total and rate them against one another. Thus, if you for example have less experience abroad but therefore more practical experience or very good grades, we would still be happy to receive your application.
