As a Staff Engineer for System and Application Engineering you will be working on new concepts and products for emerging markets, which combine isolated data transfer, energy transfer, energy harvesting and contact less communication. Description

You should be enthusiastic and dedicated to your new task. In more detail, you will:

• Identify and evaluate new product ideas and applications based on our broad portfolio of technologies
• Be responsible for go-to-market support
• Discuss and implement technical concepts with
• customers and our engineering teams as well as bring in new product ideas
• Actively contribute to long-term road-maps as part of the technical expert teams
• Gather and analyze technical and market data from internal and external sources and draw sound conclusions
• Connect with colleagues from other departments and divisions to foster our system approach
• Provide concise reports and perform customer presentations and trainings which will be associated with international contacts
  

Candidate's Profile

You like to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Your specialty is the combination of working hands-on and customer interaction thus developing new solution ideas. With this unique mix you produce results with real added value. You take on new challenges without knowing the exact solution of an implementation in advance.

You are best equipped for this task if you:

• Have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
• Gained at least 5 years of relevant working experience with focus on systems and applications ideally using Infineon products already
• Possess a broad knowledge-base and hands-on experience in Application Engineering and System Engineering combined with the ability to work closely with customers
• Have hands-on experience spanning from building HW demonstrators with focus on FW/SW to intense customer interaction to enabling market success
• Have experience with the standards for isolated data transfer, energy transfer and contact less communication
• Continuously look for new approaches using new and/or alternative technologies available at Infineon
• Have fluent English skills and at least basic German skills – a great asset would be Chinese basics
