3. Project On-Site Support Engineer of Emission calibration
1. Qualification requirement - Bachelor/Master Degree in Major MechanicalEngineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent - With a minimumof 5 years working experiences in emission calibration area for internalcombustion engines with ECU from Bosch or Continental, especially in the areas: - Exhaust gas temperature model - Component (e.g. turbocharger,catalyst, etc.) protection - Catalyst heating - Gasoline-Particle-Filter (GPF) - GPF blower - Lambda control -Lambdasensor heating control/close-loop control/dew point ending - Advanced technical knowledge of engines &vehicles, as well as automobile development process - Advanced knowledge of the calibration softwareINCA(ETAS), Matlab(Mathworks), Simulink(Mathworks), Diagra(RA Consulting) - Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Project management understanding - Good team work ability and willingness to shareknowledge with others - Strong organization and coordination skills - Language skills in English are business fluent andGerman is preferred. - Sufficiently communicative skills - Willingness totravel inside China and abroad 2. Job Description Project planning phase
- Plan emission calibration projects (timeline and cost) with regards to the Audi PEP - Define the releasing tests for every milestone if necessary Project Execution Phase Organize for KAP3 relevant kickoff meeting before each project - Coordinate and Ensure project milestones regarding timing and quality - Implementation of the defined tests including preparation and conditioning of the test car - Evaluation of the emission tests results - Accumulation and processing of an open-points list ( OPL ) - Data accumulation of failure information and analyses Technical meetings Participation and organization of regular project meetings: - Coordinate according to a defined process - Represent Audi China in Audi internal meetings in China as well as in Europe if necessary - Represent Audi AG in regular exchange with the third parties e.g. Joint Venture, other suppliers - Regular presentation of development status Documentations Documentation of necessary documents along the Audi process chain - Compilation of releasing report for every relevant Milestone - Compilation of for emission relevant technical documentation (e.g. AES, BES, AECD, etc.) Project End Phase - Support for the homologation if necessary - Organize a lessons learned - Apply and integrate lessons learned to following projects 3. Job Specification 1). Plan and coordinate emission calibration projects. Within the projects the position holder can take over project details from one to the other. a. Define and coordinate car requirements b. Match technical requirements with project goals as KAP3 requests c. Define project timeline and match with PEP (product development process) d. Synchronize car SOPs with powertrain development e. Evaluate risks regarding costs and timeline f. Collect the necessary internal and external capacities g. Collect the necessary cars and tests for the final release h. Define TPB (Technische Produkt Beschreibung) i. As a consequence of possible delays at any time within the time schedule, define countermeasures with other function owners and project coordinator or escalating to team leader when necessary 2). Represent in local committees for emission calibration projects a. Collect all project related inputs, sort, align and distribute to all necessary parties b. Evaluate status information and match with development plan (cost, timeline, release milestones) 3. Quality gate of emission calibration: a. Collect function specifications and actively organize reviews with function owners b. Self-calibration of some for emission relevant functions if necessary c. Implementation of the releasing tests and evaluation of the test results d. Provide releasing of dataset by every milestone from emission viewpoint e. Make agreements on technical acceptance in accordance with deviation tolerance and vehicle requirements f. Inform and escalate critical issues to team leader 4. Stakeholder communication a. Responsible for regular information synchronization by means of reports and participating regular meetings on demands b. Synchronize with other function owners of C/EA and Audi AG to ensure feasibility of functionality
