Aufgaben
The department supports the strategic leadership and management of the Daimler Trucks division and is responsible for the implementation of strategic projects.

Your tasks in detail:


Market- and competitor analysis for ongoing strategic projects
Screening the market/competitor environment
Identification and derivation of potentials as well as needs for action along the entire value chain, focusing on activities in Chinese market
Supporting the definition and implementation of strategic projects in cooperation with regional business units
Supporting the evaluation of questions regarding partnering and M&A
Preparation of supporting documents for decision making at top management and board Levels

Qualifikationen
Fields of study: Business Administration, Economics, Mechanical Engineering or comparable academic streams
Language skills: Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German, Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) language is an advantage
IT-Skills: Experiences with MS-Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint and internet applications), basic technical understanding and affinity for the commercial vehicle business desirable
Soft skills: High degree of independence, self-initiative, creativity and communication skills, willingness and reliability
Further skills: Interest in strategic issues and conceptual work desirable
