Due to the strong growth of OMPartners, the Customer Services Team is looking for a Support Engineer.

OM Partners develops and implementssoftware solutions for Supply Chain Planning. With OM Partners, customers canrely on support and maintenance long after the software has gone live.Therefore, a well-organized and highly skilled Customer Services Team isimportant to keep solutions up and running under all conditions.

Our customers are located all over theworld. Therefore, we have a multilingual Customer Services Team.  Online troubleshooting and remote diagnosisare standard practice for us. We serve different industries, including paperpackaging, metals, plastic, floor covering, glass, chemicals, food &beverage, and consumer products. As our customers are all engaged in industry,we understand fully that any glitch is liable to have a significant impact.

Your Challenge

A Support Engineer aims to reduce ourcustomer’s pending requests. You will take ownership of the problems assignedto you and must be determined to find solutions.

You are responsible for addressingcustomer requests which concern advanced problems. Your strong technicalknowledge and analytical skills will enable you to identify and solve problemsefficiently in customer environments. You will have the opportunity toimplement solutions yourself. You are not in it alone; you can always count onthe support of experienced colleagues and you will work in close collaborationwith the implementation consultants responsible for customer projects.

Questions and problems related to thestandard functions of the software will be handled by your colleagues in thearea of first line support. They will make an accurate estimate as to theimportance, urgency and difficulty of the support request.

Quality Assurance Engineer
(Shanghai)

Mercedes-Benz Parts Manufacturing &Services Ltd. (MBPM) was established on December 31, 2015 with its registeredaddress in Shanghai Pudong New Area. MBPM will build up a new remanufacturingplant on the own-invested land in Lingang and develop a local remanufacturingsupplier base to serve China mainland and selected markets in APAC region withremanufactured engines, transmissions, electro hydraulic control units (EHC),HV battery and supplier parts such as starters, alternators and AC compressors.The complete value creation will take place in-house, which includes core partscollection, disassembly, cleaning, remanufacturing, storage,assembly/end-of-line testing, packaging and dispatch.

Supply Chain Consultant(Shanghai)

Entry Level Position

As a Supply Chain Consultant you haveone goal: to provide the customers with innovative supply chain solutions.

You become a reliable partner of thecustomer for the entire project lifecycle. You visit the customer on a regularbasis (about 30% of your time).

You start with analyzing the customer'splanning challenges and advise them in designing their new planningenvironment. You implement the planning and scheduling solution with our richplanning tools and validate it with the customer's project team. Finally, youtrain the customers in the use of their new APS.

Technical End of Line Testing Transmissionand EHC(Shanghai)

Responsibilities:

·      Operatetransmission and EHC end of line (EOL) test benches.

·      Improveand maintain EOL testing equipment, test methods, testing processes andsoftware.

·      Adapttesting equipment and programs to new products and specifications.

·      Implementand validate software updates.

·      Cooperateclosely with headquarters and mass production specialists in Germany and leadplant test engineers in Romania for test methods and software development.

·      SupportEOL senior specialist to fulfill department targets.

Qualification:

Education: Diploma in MechatronicsEngineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

·      Knowledgeof transmission and EHC structure, design and functionality, Software skills(high level languages).

·      Befamiliar with standardization, lean production systems and problem solvingtools (e.g. PDCA, 8D).

·      Goodteam player and continuous improvement awareness.
