Tasks
Within Daimler group, we are responsible for revenue controlling & pricing of Mercedes-Benz and smart cars in the region Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan). Our activities focus on the one hand on steering our local sales entities by setting ambitious targets and analyzing cost- and revenue potentials and on the other hand pricing and positioning our cars within the country-specific competitive set.

Your tasks will include:

Play an active role in our short-, mid-, and long-term planning and support the reporting of the Greater China sales entities
In this context, you will perform regular and ad hoc deviation analyses as a basis for deriving appropriate measures to steer our business
Your tasks includes the continuous improvement of reporting tools and deviation analysis methods
You will gain insight into the strategic and operative pricing decisions of existing and new Mercedes-Benz and smart models
As a basis for strategic steering and long-term business decisions you will support business case calculations and profitability checks
On top, this internship provides an interesting insight into numerous other topics that affect our business such as exchange rate management, transfer pricing or tax and duty Frameworks
Qualifications
Study: Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in business administration, economics or business engineering preferably with a focus in controlling/finance or a comparable field of study
Language skills: Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German, Chinese is an asset
IT skills: Experiences with MS-Office
Soft skills: Ability to analyze complex topics and derive practical solutions
work systematically, high level of commitment and teamwork
