国家纵然变富了，也不代表这样的国家所有的人民都会受益。

if就是如果，therefore就是因此，对应上面描述的英国衰落，整段翻译成中文有时候不一定每个词要翻出来。
% Q3 [8 A( K' u7 _% ~: \2 d0 M明明很简单的词，楼主是不是钻牛角尖了。
