Is your visa a F1? If so, ok. otherwise you have to go to american consulate in Frankfurt to apply a B1 visa. 作者: ETP 时间: 20.6.2004 20:09
You'd better load the homepage of american consulate to find some information about american visa at first, which you should apply. The normal case to a chinese with P.R. China passport is calling consulate at first to make an appointment for an interview then you may download two forms from homepage of consulate and fill them. Please remember ID number of your passport, the staff will ask you it on the phone. And make sure there is enough money on your telephone account because it is quiet expensive to call this number. A chinese girl angrily told me two months ago that american consulate looked like a callgirl depending on this telephone call to earn money. If a chinese with P.R. China passport is studying or working at some special scientific subjects as chemistry, biology, medicine......., the staff will ask you to get a background checking, it may last several months. In my case, the total application lasted six months. So you have to make a plan to make sure about your booking hotel, tickets....

Anyway, good luck to you. 作者: 下雨了 时间: 20.6.2004 20:49
