8mm Sky，形容他们的音乐～就像"夏天的午后突然打雷"吧！从早期的Walking in the sun, song 1, the Sound Before Christmas到最近的新歌让人由yo la tengo,18th dye,及天空爆炸的影像联想，吉他爆炸减少了！取而代之的是愈来愈内敛的音符堆叠。 2002年4月成军，除了在圣界、地社外，也在夏夏叫、噗雌颂、野台、春天呐喊等活动参与演出，同年十一月，受邀担任Explosions in the sky暖场团。 2005年受邀担任múm暖场团。
正式发表的the sound before Christmas和Daylite running necessary两首歌曲，分别收入在萝卜一号(WWR,2003)和电、棒、烫(Avex,2004)之中；2002年十二月发行现场表演（天空爆炸暖场）VCD限量50张，现已绝版。
