Technical Support Engineer
YOUR ROLE
• Pre sales technical support: visit customers together with sales, prepare for technical materials, answer technical questions and work out solutions accordingly.
• Post sales technical support: address any technical queries or compliant from internal and external clients, analyze and resolve the issues, based on your own knowledge and our product manuals until acceptable solution is implemented and approved in customer side.
• Provide product training to customers and sales as needed, including communicating with customer to set up the training, work out training materials and answer questions during the training. Last but least, get a deeper understanding about customer’s needs and provide suggestions to the company and sales team.
• Attend exhibitions and events in Europe and present our products to customers.
• Work out technical documentations as required from management.
• Conduct competitive product analysis as needed.
• As agreed with customer, collect and analyze the maintenance and repairment data from key customers regularly and work out the report accordingly to customer and management.
• Organize regular technical meetings with key customers including setting up the agenda, material preparation, meeting minutes and follow up the open actions from the meetings.
• Work in Düsseldorf Germany office and willingness to travel (incl. overnight stay) all over Europe.
YOUR SKILLS
• Bachelor/Master’s in electrical, electronic, mechanical or equivalent engineering degree.
• Around 5 years of relevant working experience in automatic or semi-automatic coffee machine industry has the most advantage. Otherwise, other electronic appliance industry is considered as long as the candidate has strong learning skill.
• Proven ability to address technical issues independently
• Native Chinese and fluent in English at a business level. Additional language, such as German, would be an advantage.
• Be flexible to attend meetings or conference call with colleagues in China outside of working time per business needs.
• A good team player and always put customer at the first place.
