Bigpoint was founded in 2002 with thegoal to provide great games that everyone can play. Not just in the browserspace but also in mobile games, we are aiming to introduce innovative gameplaysto all categories of players.

As a Project Manager you are creating andmaintaining transparency of production information, thus enabling decisionmaking on all levels. By defining and driving production processes in closecollaboration with team and stakeholders you elevate productivity to optimallevels.
While assigned to one of our most successful live games, Farmerama, this rolewill be embedded in the Project Management department, enjoying support andmentoring from a group of seasoned professionals in the field. Over time yourproject assignments may vary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with the product owner toretrieve project goals and priorities from company and stakeholders on anongoing basis

· Clearly communicate identifiedproject goals and priorities to the team and all stakeholders

· Work with the team and productowner to establish and maintain project roadmaps and production plans

· Identify and manage internal andexternal dependencies

· Manage changing requirements

· Balance the project's resourceallocation in close collaboration with product owner and leads

· Track and report on projectprogress and status

· Identify, raise and resolveproduction roadblocks and timeline issues ahead of time

· Identify, raise and maintainproduction risks and mitigation strategies

· Establish a positive andefficient production environment encouraging and enabling the team to deliver

REQUIREMENTS

· At least 3 years workingexperience as Project Manager for software development

· Proved contribution experienceto successful delivery of software products

· Project management experiencein video games / creative environment / technical environments/ online softwaredevelopment is a plus

· Fluent with modern projectmanagement methodologies

· A career focus on developmentprocesses rather than creative ownership

· Experience in managingmulti-cultural software development teams

· Thriving in high-pressureenvironments

· Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Able to interface with allproduction disciplines (game design, art, tech, etc) as well as externalstakeholders

· Excellent leadership skills

· Bachelor’s degree is required

· Project managementqualification is a plus

· Passion in games

· Fluent in written and spokenEnglish

· Fluent in Chinese/ Mandarin isa plus
